Here is an update of what's going on at The Anchor, because, as you all know I am now back in England for a while sorting out some family business, renewing my passport and doing some work while I'm here.
Can't just sit about and do nothing...not in my nature...and it's a good chance to boost the bank balance a little.
So as not to put extra strain on Ken and Sue, The Anchor now has a new team at the helm...not completely new, but in addition to Ken and Sue, there are now two new members of the partnership.
I am no longer involved with The Anchor, but the Cafeteria is now in the competent hands of Jean and Fabienne who will now be working alongside Sue and Ken.
There is nothing to read into this, it is a business move to ensure the continued success of The Anchor, and I wish both Jean and Fabienne well in their venture into the world that is The Anchor.
I would like to thank Sue and Ken for being part of the team that started The Anchor, and making it the success that it has now become.
When we first started out we did not envisage that the firat year would be as successful as it was, and I am sure that the new team will take The Anchor to even greater heights.
I look forward to enjoying a great cup of coffee and one of Ken's bagels when I return, only now I won't have to do the washing up when I'm finished.
I am sure that all of our friends will support Jean and Fabienne just as much as they supported me when I was involved.
So from me thank you to all of my friends and customers, thank you to Ken and Sue and thank you to Elly's for the support she gave me in starting The Anchor.

New Changes
Well It has been a time since I have posted anything, so first off
sorry for keeping you in the dark.
Well here is the news you are all craving for?
Management Changes.
Ken and Sue have moved on ? Ken finally got round to remembering why he and Sue came to the Dominican Republic for in the first place? and that was to Retire. As the Anchor was getting more demanding on his time and with Sue away looking after important family matters, it seamed just the right time for them both to sit back and watch the project they started 2 years ago flourish, and have been happy to leave it in good hands.
Also at this time due to health reasons Fabienne has decided to take time away to heal (no pun intended) and sadly left the Anchor, leaving Jean and a new member to the Management team, Alexis, who is no stranger to the Anchor as you know, who given the chance to join the Anchor as a partner, was more than keen to do so, with him doing so, turned down a chance to join a cruse ship company, but having been a valued member of the Anchor team for a while, had no hesitation and did not need to much time to think about it.
All members of the Anchor team past and present are more than happy with how the transition has gone and the direction at which The Anchor is heading in the ever capable and safe hands of Jean & Alexis.
So Jean & Alexis we would like to sincerely wish everyone good health and happiness for the future in all that you do and hope to see them and of course, all of you at The Anchor.
The Anchor Team.
