New Changes

Well It has been a time since I have posted anything, so first off
sorry for keeping you in the dark.

Well here is the news you are all craving for?

Management Changes.

Ken and Sue have moved on ? Ken finally got round to remembering why he and Sue came to the Dominican Republic for in the first place? and that was to Retire. As the Anchor was getting more demanding on his time and with Sue away looking after important family matters, it seamed just the right time for them both to sit back and watch the project they started 2 years ago flourish, and have been happy to leave it in good hands.

Also at this time due to health reasons Fabienne has decided to take time away to heal (no pun intended) and sadly left the Anchor, leaving Jean and a new member to the Management team, Alexis, who is no stranger to the Anchor as you know, who given the chance to join the Anchor as a partner, was more than keen to do so, with him doing so, turned down a chance to join a cruse ship company, but having been a valued member of the Anchor team for a while, had no hesitation and did not need to much time to think about it.

All members of the Anchor team past and present are more than happy with how the transition has gone and the direction at which The Anchor is heading in the ever capable and safe hands of Jean & Alexis.

So Jean & Alexis we would like to sincerely wish everyone good health and happiness for the future in all that you do and hope to see them and of course, all of you at The Anchor.

The Anchor Team.

Up date

Hi all just an update on life here at the Anchor,
Everyone here are looking forward to the warm and sunny weather to come
and with it lots of new friends and returning friends? old and new are ALL Welcome
here at the Anchor.

Things have been going very well after the turmoil of our recent renovations, as expected
not to many disruptions? over all, life went on, a little slower! but everything got done in the end.

There have been a few additions to our already extensive menu (to find out what?) you will have to pop in?
It will be worth it.

Change in the opening times with the start of Sylvia's Bistro on the following night has been well attended

The Bistro will be open for customers Sunday and Monday Thursday,Friday and Saturday nights 4pm till around 10pm depending on demand..
she will close on a Tuesday and Wednesday.

As this is a new venture for us, new ideas are coming and going, some work? and some don't?
but overall it has gone very very well, in particular the Dominican Night went better than expected
with a full house (more seats were needed and fetched) so everyone was catered for, as written
this is a new venture for Sylvia, in more ways than one, we feel that any ideas for a theme night (food) are welcome, so please pop in, let us know what you think.
